Diving is a very interesting and rewarding activity, but as in any other sport it has definite rules, that cannot be neglected. Let us have a look at what is safe diving.
The basic rules of behavior for a diver are the following:
- Water is full of risks such as undercurrents and flows, poaching nets in which you can ensnare, temperature shifts that a human body not always positively reacts to. Don’t forget that diving is a team sport, never dive alone, in case of emergency your teammates will be able to help you.
- Before making your first dives, go through diving training courses – it doesn’t take much time but will give you all the necessary information about the rules of behavior under water and will teach you how to cope with possible dangers.
- Choose your diving spot thoroughly. If you are not good at finding a good place to dive, consult a professional like an instructor or merely a more experienced diver.
- Do not swim away of your partner, keep a constant visual contact with him.
- Mind the time, equipment efficacy and your well-being. Everything must be all right.
- Fast ascending and descending are bad for your health. The speed of the rising bubbles is optimal and you should keep to it.
- Alcohol under water or before diving – is a strict taboo.
- Local fauna is surely beautiful but unsafe – do not touch anything under water.
Plunging under water – is not frightful or dangerous, if you do everything right. Go through a diving training in AHLA DIVE, follow the given rules and you will not encounter any difficulties.
