Practicing diving? Keep to the immersion rules

Diving is a relatively safe kind of sport, but only when all the team members follow the immersion rules. We advise you to learn the peculiarities if this kind of activity and go through diving training if you do not want to encounter emergencies. Below you will find a list of rules of behavior under water that is especially useful to beginners.

What every diver must know

The basic rules for a diver are:

  1. It is forbidden to dive alone.
  2. Rising to the surface should be performed at the speed of air bubbles.
  3. Diving deeper than 40 meters is dangerous.
  4. Diving without a plan is potentially dangerous.
  5. Mind the time, air supply and depth.
  6. If you do not feel well, don’t dive.
  7. If you suddenly feel bad under water, ascend immediately.
  8. Check the equipment before diving
  9. Alcohol is diver’s enemy.

All these point are discussed in diving training courses, repetition is the mother of learning.

What to do in case of emergency

If something went wrong, there is no time to think, you should act promptly. If you are starting to feel bad – ascend. If your partner is in trouble you should establish the priorities, access the situation and immediately do the following: call for rescue service, organize transportation and provide the person with medical assistance.

After the diving

Climb onto the board of the ship slowly. Do not forget to thoroughly rinse and dry the equipment.
