WHAT IT IS

At the Ahla Diving Center, you can take the PADI Open Water Diver (OWD) course and the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course (AOWD) in a week while you stay in one of our 2 locations. This is the perfect way to be fully immersed in the experience and enjoy the company of other divers. No previous scuba diving experience is required. 

In the Open Water Diver Course, you will get used to being underwater, learn how to use basic scuba gear, how to breathe and dive up until 18 meters deep. 

During the Advanced Course, you will make six dives, being three dives a day, in dives of up 30 meters. These six dives include Underwater Navigation, Deep Adventure Dive, Specialty Dive and an extra one to go through all the skills you learned.

In Ahla Diving Center, we give you the chance to dive into numerous sites. Having successfully passed the exam and receiving a certificate, you are qualified to dive with a buddy anywhere in the world.

REQUIREMENTS

For diving in Israel, you need insurance. Don’t you have one? No problem, you can buy it while you’re here. You need to be 12 to 80 years old. For underaged participants, written permission from their parents or caretakers is required. Participants who are 45 and older must provide a medical declaration to prove their good physical health.

ACCOMMODATION

Stay with us and you don’t have to worry about anything. Whether you come alone or with friends and family, we have two options for you: a villa and a hostel. You can choose if you want a dorm bed, a private room or a suite.

If you want to stay at our hostel, you’ll find a laid-back atmosphere, a perfect place to meet like-minded divers and travelers. We have a big swimming pool, a shared kitchen and shared bathrooms.

On the other hand, the villa is where you want to stay if comfort is a priority for you. There, you can enjoy a well-designed environment and high-quality appliances. It’s a great place to relax after diving. You can also use our vinyl record player, fireplace and barbecue grill.

Both the villa and the hostel are just a 15-minute walk from the sea. It doesn’t matter which one you prefer, if you stay with us, you’ll save time and money on transportation and you’ll have access to everything you might need!
